Actually could be a doll model, right? "Cleft lip Charlie?" :) is it wrong that his lip just makes him even cuter to us?

Tummy time!
We have been doubling up on the tummy time recently as Grady had three weeks without it while recovering from surgery. Thankfully he is catching up quite well!

Grady's first race
Having a pro triathlete for a dad means Grady has a lot of races in his future. He did a great job at this one, cheering on his dad without even knowing it - and brett won! This day was an interesting new challenge - cold and sunny at the same time, so I was trying to keep him warm and out of the bright sun at the same time, while feeding him, and timing his naps for the 2.5 mile walk each way! I'm pretty proud of my super mom skills!

Morning person?
On mornings when I wake up before Grady's food cries do the job (rare!) - here is what I usually find him doing. Looking around, kicking his legs, and then when he sees me, the hugest smile ever. Pretty rewarding!

Dinner date
We met our friends the Naumans for an impromptu dinner date with Grady and their little girl Katelin. A little madness ensued - crying baby, dirty diapers resulting in no shirt for Katelin for a few minutes, and lots of stickers. It was still great to catch up, and Kristin and I found ourselves remarking on being glad to be part of our current generation - check out the super involved dads we get to be married to!

Daddy's boy
We took Grady out for his first walk in the big stroller without the cat seat - and headed to the bike shop for Brett to take care of a few work items. I went to get coffee, and let Brett hang out with Grady in the carrier to test the waters for his new gig as full time dad. It went pretty well, so we ended the day with dinner at Chipotle, which I am sure Grady will get to experience many more times!

Family
Brett's Uncle Bob and Aunt Sally love near Boston and we finally got the chance for them to meet Grady last weekend. Here is Sally with Grady, and an awesome picture of Grady that their daughter Emily drew for us! His first portrait. We love all the Tomasettis and can't wait to introduce Grady to the rest of them!
One week after
Here's how our boy looks - one week post surgery! Healing well - the surgeon seemed pretty happy with how it's healing. Such a little champ. :)
Park visit
I take Grady for a walk or outing every day to get him some fresh air, and hopefully to teach him to enjoy being outside. We celebrated the relatively warm weather by going to the park for today's walk. He was pretty alert for the adventure!

Two months!
Grady is growing like a weed. And - you can believe what they say about very new newborns seeming alien-like. At week one, he was looking pretty...uhm...let's just say not as adorable...as now!
Below is his most recent two month shot, followed by one month and one week. Check out the chubby legs and cheeks he's growing!
